Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
